A Few Visitors in One Post
I think this is a bee, but not sure of the variety. I like the eyes and the fact that it is so covered in pollen - it's either been in a rape field (which are in full flower right now) or particularly likes dandelions.
This earwig was hidden in the layers of a rhubarb flower - they don't cause too much damage to veggies as far as I'm aware.
And this is the useful little Red Velvet Mite - not the Red Spider Mite.
And this, as my Allotment Blog explains, is the Bean Weevil - the cause of the nibbled edges of broad bean leaves. And the damager of peas!
