Green Chrysalis

Jamie spotted this lovely pupa on a bamboo cane while he was clearing the tomatoes yesterday.

I think it's the chrysalis of one of the white butterflies, but I haven't been able to confirm which variety yet. I love the thin silk that the caterpillar made in order to hold the pupa in place. 

Isn't nature a marvellous thing?
