Beautiful Bluebottle (back)
Not a favourite (just look at its latin name Calliphora Vomitaria - ugh), but what a little beauty when studied up close! The herb fennel is covered in lots of different flies at the moment and I just managed to snap this one really quickly before it buzzed off :-)
