Harvestmen - they're not spiders

I'm scared of spiders but have never found harvestmen to be quite so offensive (though I would still avoid one if in a confined place).

And today I have discovered they're not spiders! They're Opiliones - same as Daddy longlegs - a completly different species from spiders as pointed out on the UK Safari website.

This one was basking on the Uchiki Kuri squash leaves. Harvestmen will pretty much eat anything but aren't likely to cause much damage to veggies.
