A Goldfinch

We've seen a few goldfinches around the hedge this year. Such pretty birds but they seem to be quite timid. I've tried sneaking up on them but they always flit away. So, this is the best snap I've managed so far, with the longest zoom my camera can manage and a bit of cropping to effectively zoom in even more.

 That's my excuse for it not being a great photo!
