Green Angle Shades Moth Caterpillar
We found what seems to be a young angle shades moth caterpillar (Phlogophora meticulosa) on the allotment plot today.
The ones we've found previously have had darker heads. I like that you can see the tiny spots on each segment in this photo. I buried it back in the ground as it was such a cold day.
These can generally live on nettles and other non-vegetable plants.
