Harlequin Ladybird
We get a lot of harlequin ladybirds on site.
This one has a plan to over-Winter in the polytunnel I think. It was enjoying the basil flowers.
This is an older post, with a harlequin of different colour and pattern.
Generally bigger than our traditional ladybirds and often more colourful, harlequins are considered a pest by some.
Here’s another variation.
However, as an allotment holder, they eat lots of aphids so I still consider them a good guy.
