Pyrausta purpuralis - Mint Moth
This pretty little moth Pyrausta purpuralis was photographed on our thyme. It looks very similar to the another mint moth, Pyrausta aurata, but differences in the gold wing patterns identify it.
All the mint moth larvae feed on mint(!), marjoram and thyme.
