Mint Moth - Pyrausta aurata

We found this mint moth Pyrausta aurata today - quite a small moth but rather pretty. It wasn't sitting on mint; we don't have any, but was near our thyme plant.

The caterpillars eat various herbs but unless there were masses of them I don't suppose they'd cause that much damage!
