Dor Beetle
This is a dor beetle Geotrupes stercorarius. It's a dung beetle.
It stands out because it's so shiny. Unfortunately this little chap has a rather severe infestation of mites, which is not unusual for the dor beetle which are known as the 'Lousy Watchman' as a result!
