Tiny Millipede
Millipedes are often seen in the earth all over our plots. I've added a picture of one previously but this was a particularly small one.

so is that full grown because I would love to know whether or not those that I find in my yard are just babies or of they will grow up huge.
ReplyDeleteThat one isn't full grown, but British ones only ever grow to about 2-3cm
DeleteOhhh, so that's what it is. I'm in Lowcountry (coastal US), and actually found one inside my bedroom, which is an upper level, and behind my computer tower of all places. I'm not even sure how one could reach such heights, lol.
ReplyDeleteHaha! It found a way! They apparently seek shelter indoors during heavy rain or drought but why it would choose an upstairs room is anyone’s guess 🙂
