Hitching a Ride!

I found this chubby caterpillar (not sure what sort) on our lettuce. It wasn't till we got home and saw the photo on the computer screen that we noticed the little hanger-on!

The passenger is a white fly. We have loads around site on brassicas and in compost bins. The frosty weather has helped get rid of a lot of them - but clearly not all!
