Bleah, Slug!

We see a lot of these large slugs on the plot - particularly in our compost bins (under the lid). I don't really like slugs and these big ones produce such horribly sticky slime! This is a large black slug - even though it's brown.

They do love our veggies, particularlysquashes and seedlings - though most damage may be caused by the smaller slugs which are no so easily spotted.
