Pied Shieldbug
I do love a shieldbug! There are so many varieties and some are really quite colorful. This is a pied shieldbug (Tritomegas bicolor) with lovely silvery colouring on its wings. This Bug website has brilliant photos of the various types and stages in their development.
This particular one isn't a problem for vegetable growers as it tends to live on deadnettle and other hedgerow plants - this is certainly not the case for all shieldbugs though!
