Vine Weevil

I love the look of vine weevils, but they are considered a pest. They particularly like plants grown in pots and although they mostly favour ornamental plants they are rather partial to strawberries :-(

The grubs eat the roots over autumn and winter and the adults eat leaves during the spring/summer.
