Black Millipede / White-legged Snake Millipede
Millipedes are a family of invertebrates. These black ones are great looking, so smooth and shiny. They are usually found under wood or amongst leaf litter as they're nocturnal herbivores. They coil up but unwrap quickly to make their escape.
They can cause damage to strawberries and potatoes but they prefer to clear up decaying matter so I wouldn't consider these a pest and enjoy seeing them.
