One of the UK's three species of cardinal, this is the 'common' cardinal and it's quite easy to spot! Look at those amazing antennae. Its wing is caught in its wing casing, hope that doesn't cause it problems.
It eats other insects so is welcome on the plot - as long as it sticks to eating the bad visitors!
