Pheasant nest

Hmmm, well nice to see but I'd prefer it if this pheasant wasn't on an allotment plot very close to ours!

Her nest was uncovered when fellow plotholder, Dave, was strimming the empty plot. She ran off when his strimmer was within a metre of her! That's when he saw the ten (yes, 10) eggs...

We don't have the heart to move her on at this stage but are devising a plan to move her when she has her chicks. Jamie and I have to try to keep the meat-eaters away from her though!!
