Mrs Blackbird

This female blackbird is proving to be our robin's nemesis. She doesn't appear to have any chicks but is certainly eating a lot.

She has the audacity to eat 'his' worms and the intelligence/strength to remove the stones from our strawberry planter to get at the worms which have fallen out of Robbie's reach.

She's not quite as cocky as Robbie though so if we're sitting on the bench she's not always brave enough to come over to us.
