Dandelions are flavour of the day!
A lovely warm sunny day - one of very few so far this Spring - meant there were some more insects on the air. In fact, there were a lot of small flies/gnats but I couldn't photograph those.
I did snap this hoverfly. I originally thought it was a bee - I'm not sure what variety of hoverfly it is. We did see a pollen-laden bee sitting on our compost bin, but by the time I got to my camera it had buzzed off.
These are pretty much the only flowers on site at the moment....Here's someone else enjoying a dandelion!

A small tortoiseshell butterfly - there were a few of these on the site today.
