Ground Beetle

There are a lot of ground beetles in the UK; something like 370 different species, so being specific is tricky. By looking through the gallery here I have decided that this one is Nebria brevicollis - but don't quote me on that!
I love this photo! The beetle is on my leg and the super macro option on my camera really caught the details beautifully.
