Rosy Rustic Moth

We found this Rosy Rustic moth (Hydraecia micacea) today. It wouldn't stop shaking its wings, but didn't attempt to fly away; I wonder whether it had only just emerged and was still drying its wings off.
Here's another picture of it so you can see its big eyes.

According to UK Moths the larvae like to eat dock roots - plenty of them around site!
